Angelina was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, knew how to break down complex topics and ensured it was interactive. My only surprise was that she didn’t have her camera on and also didn’t ask the delegates to turn theirs on as well. This makes it really hard to follow and very impersonal. We are so used to being virtual that I would expect cameras turned on as standard. Of course you can’t force delegates, however, at the very least I would expect the trainer to be on.

The course was quite intense (theory wise) with a lot of new words being thrown at me – but after raising this was my weakness Angelina mentioned ways of reading and testing my knowledge (and double checking the syllabus).
She was fun and friendly throughout the 3 days and I have learnt a lot.
lucy.haselum –
Very informative and very well presented.

John was very good. I felt he could have asked closed questions of individuals to check understanding rather than ‘are we all ok?’ or ‘do we all understand?’ though. I found that despite it being a Foundation course, I was the minority in the group of those who were not already working as testers/similar and this severely impacted on my ability to relate to the content and grasp the concepts at the rate the course seemingly expected. The syllabus also seemed place little emphasis on laying a general, introductory-level foundation of the various types of testing, etc and instead spent a disproportionate amount of time focusing on reporting techniques that appeared hugely theoretical, somewhat antiquated and likely to only be utilised by those few in very large corporates.

Very well lead course, John was very clear, and created a positive learning environment. Well structured course with good walkthroughs of in class examples and debriefing of sample exam questions.

Awesome course material

Intense but very useful
rhys.mogford –
John was useful, well rounded at explaining and had many examples up his sleeve to use to explain concepts and examples.
He took time to listen to why we as a group answered some questions incorrectly, and was friendly and jovial throughout what is quite literally a very material intensive 3 days cram course!

John was really excellent, one of the best trainers I have done a course with. He is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic even after several days of the course.
theo.rudman –

It was a 3 day training course and our trainer Ms Angelina really explained the topics very well.
At the end of each topic she checked our knowledge to make sure we are following and also kept the session very interactive and engaging. I will really like to join another course with her as a trainer.
Thanks
Sree

Although the syllabus was hard to follow for me personally the trainer did a great job and getting me through it all. I’m not feeling overly confident for the test but fingers crossed a lot more revision between now and then will get me over the line. Thanks

Angelina is an excellent trainer, obviously very experienced both in the subject being covered and teaching it. She constantly sought to engage the delegates, to ensure we were all absorbing the course material. I was extremely impressed with her conduct.
However, I do think the course maybe needs an extra day of learning. We were covering a lot of terminology and concepts and were in some areas forced to go quickly through things. And we only had time for a 45 minute lunch break, which I felt could be an hour if we had another day to work with!

It was good to know lots of terms , which is new to me
