It was a really insightful and helpful session. Overall great course to gather more knowledge for the ISTQB exam. Well Explained. Thank you!

Very good training and will recommend to others.

With all the information been well explain and useful I found it very stressful to study for 8 hours and process all the new data.
Also I would love to have more practice with exam questions and similar quizzes, since I took lots of those myself to be better prepared for exam (and also to let the course information sink properly).
I also found that trainer skipped some parts of presentation and led the course her own way, which made me feel like some course pieces are not actual and valid anymore.
To sum up I’m really satisfied with the course and would definitely recommend it to others. Maybe questions I have are just mine own misunderstandings (came from my QA experience).

This was the first instructor-led classroom course I have done for quite some time and it really was well worth the wait. John is an extremely versatile and capable trainer and nothing was too much trouble for him throughout the course. I would sincerely recommend TSG Training and would doubly recommend John Young as a trainer. Excellent overall!

It was well delivered and covered about the right depth, at the right tempo. 11/11 have passed the exam so far (with one more to take it on Monday)

Angelina explained the details of the course very well.
callum.leech –
It was a very rewarding course to take, Angelina was very helpful and detailed when explaining each part of the course. Couldn’t have asked for a better trainer.

In depth and informative. However, exam questions are shocking in their language use and understandability

The course (when using the full 3 days) was a good length for the training being provided. Any less would have been too much in such a short time.

The course was ran really well, Angelina knows her stuff, I’m just not 100% sure on how a lot of the syllabus is worded, I feel like it tested my word play skills rather than informing me of the actual QA knowledge, I guess we will see for definite after taking the exam.

The trainer was helpful in terms of how to approach questions, broken down complex items.
anshu.jaisinghani –
She made it very interesting by engaging all of us and relating it to our practical day-to-day scenario. Absolutely satisfied with the course learning.

Second time taking the course, as I just missed the pass mark on my exam. Angelina is very knowledgeable, friendly and made me understand things that I previously didn’t. She took some time out to make some questions up to help me which I really appreciated.
Tasmeen_p –
Really informative. Well paced. Interactive – Enjoyed the snippets of Angelina’s experience which she shared throughout

Angelina was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, knew how to break down complex topics and ensured it was interactive. My only surprise was that she didn’t have her camera on and also didn’t ask the delegates to turn theirs on as well. This makes it really hard to follow and very impersonal. We are so used to being virtual that I would expect cameras turned on as standard. Of course you can’t force delegates, however, at the very least I would expect the trainer to be on.

The course was quite intense (theory wise) with a lot of new words being thrown at me – but after raising this was my weakness Angelina mentioned ways of reading and testing my knowledge (and double checking the syllabus).
She was fun and friendly throughout the 3 days and I have learnt a lot.
lucy.haselum –
Very informative and very well presented.
kyle.gilham –
John was very good. I felt he could have asked closed questions of individuals to check understanding rather than ‘are we all ok?’ or ‘do we all understand?’ though. I found that despite it being a Foundation course, I was the minority in the group of those who were not already working as testers/similar and this severely impacted on my ability to relate to the content and grasp the concepts at the rate the course seemingly expected. The syllabus also seemed place little emphasis on laying a general, introductory-level foundation of the various types of testing, etc and instead spent a disproportionate amount of time focusing on reporting techniques that appeared hugely theoretical, somewhat antiquated and likely to only be utilised by those few in very large corporates.

Very well lead course, John was very clear, and created a positive learning environment. Well structured course with good walkthroughs of in class examples and debriefing of sample exam questions.

A brilliantly executed course by a man who really knows his stuff but thee is so much information to take in!
